Job Description:

Recognized as an authority in Project Management capability, independently handling unique situations, assisting others, and providing guidance to executives. Mentors and helps to develop less-experienced employees in the Project Management profession.

Experience Guidelines

  • Applied minimum 8 - 10 years of project management experience and 4 years of technical/industry/business experience (excluding any overlap with PM experience)
  • Lead implementation of new products and services, large-scale terminal automation projects, application and terminal upgrades, operational efficiency improvements, terminal process design, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments
  • Demonstrated evidence of a giveback opportunity to the Project Management community
  • Completed Project Management mandatory education; holds a PMI or PRINCE 2 certification
  • Achieved an Experienced level in Complex Project Implementation Methodology
  • 10 + years of consulting experience for cross-role transfers; project management certification a must

Effectiveness and Impact

  • Manages small to large scale projects successfully (scope, budget, schedule, escalation) and delivers results that meet or beat expectations
  • Represents Kaleris-Navis in a professional way in front of customers and other Kaleris-Navis departments
  • Ability to negotiate and sell additional services during the project, if applicable

Supervision and Accountability

  • Quickly develops effective relationships with all project stakeholders
  • Listens and communicates effectively with customers, team members and stakeholders
  • Motivates / inspires team members and stakeholders
  • Deals with challenges and stressful situations, while maintaining professionalism
  • Manages their project within the relevant tools; reports on their projects on time and complete

Communication and Leadership

  • Develops effective project plans, execute and proactively replan as required
  • Creates and enthusiastically delivers project-oriented presentations to customer and Navis executives
  • Leads customers to effective solutions
