You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Project Management Office (PMO) team focused on driving critical strategic initiatives forward in order to achieve key business outcomes. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for meeting with customers, earning client trust, collaborating with the Salesloft sales team, and designing custom solutions to help our customers achieve success. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated and dynamic project management expert focused on driving our most critical projects to successful completion. Specifically, you will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our company’s strategic vision by executing on the goals set in annual planning. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for partnering with the executive leadership team, senior leadership team, and other subject matter expects across the business to program and/or project manage key strategic initiatives that are complex, cross-departmental, and have substantial resources invested in order to achieve success. PMO Project Managers ensure the efficient use of resources for different projects and tailor the project management approach to the unique needs based on the specific initiative. They are highly effective communicators; able to inspire and lead a project team to achieve success while also possessing the skills to be able to share informative, concise, and effective updates with the executive team and senior leadership on a regular basis.

THE TEAM:

Our PMO team is a critical part of Salesloft’s Strategy & Operations department who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

As an integral part of the Strategy & Operations team, the PMO team consists of results-oriented SaaS project management professionals with a strong focus on long-term success. The Project Managers on our team share a few common traits: they are self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about helping Salesloft achieve its mission. THE SKILL SET:

  • 5+ years of proven professional Project Management experience preferably in the SaaS industry along with demonstrable hands-on experience leading and delivering strategic cross functional projects.
  • Proven delivery experience with projects involving cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
  • Proven experience establishing sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and partner with stakeholders internal and external.
  • Proven experience managing projects through all phases, with demonstrated expertise and proven abilities in risk management and mitigation, and business value or strategy consulting.
  • Exceptional communication, team building, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience creating documentation & presentations for senior & executive level 
  • Excellent meeting facilitation, planning and management skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high level of commitment is required.
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology Expertise is required. Excellent Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) skills are required.
  • Experience creating tailored Organizational Process Assets (OPAs); experience using PM tools such as Wrike, Smartsheet, etc. a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Participate in our daily training cadence, where you will learn our software and all the skills necessary to set you up for success
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your customer book of business
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet with the Executive & Senior Leadership teams from across the business - they will be key partners in upcoming projects you’ll lead
  • Review existing project tools, templates, and documentation - start to formulate questions!

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Gain a complete understanding of the current project portfolio & company OKRs
  • Work with your manager & the Strategy team to align on which upcoming initiatives require your support
  • Do a thorough discovery around each project; work with leadership & key project stakeholders to create business cases, project charters, and other project documentation
  • Kick off your first project!

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Drive significant progress against your assigned projects by hitting key milestones that align with Company OKRs
  • Develop relationships consisting of positive rapport and trust with internal stakeholders and the executive team
  • Continuously evaluate that project goals & work are aligning with the most up to date version of company strategy
  • Regularly meet with the Strategy team to remain aligned on current progress & upcoming project needs
  • Implement a regular communication schedule to share status updates, risks, etc. with leadership
  • Continue to focus on your personal OKRs

 WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be considered a top-performing Project Manager on the team by consistently leading successful projects
  • Observe the achievement of key leading & lagging indicators from projects you’ve led that align with and will help drive progress against the company’s strategic plan
  • Mentor other internal stakeholders on project management best practices that they can cascade to their respective teams
  • Provide consultative guidance to leadership around their department specific projects (e.g. identifying overlap with past or current projects, sharing project management templates, providing recommendations around project approach, etc)
  • Become a trusted partner with the reputation of being able to ‘get things done’

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
