Q2 is seeking a Senior Project Manager responsible for the successful configuration and deployment of Q2’s Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions. This position is a hybrid project management and technical implementation role that involves application troubleshooting and support. This Senior Project Manager will work with our largest/most complex customers through the implementation of the products and serve as the primary contact with the customer during the project – confident executive presence is a must. This individual must be exceptionally detail-oriented and an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with customers to understand business requirements and expectations
  • Design and execute project plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions
  • Direct project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the customer and team to problem solve issues that arise
  • Track status and provide updates in relation to the overall implementation process in a manner befitting our largest/most complex customers
  • Train and educate customers on the product and configuration options

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
  • Experience managing large and complex customer relationships, corresponding with executive-level customer contacts     
  • Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)
  • Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
  • Ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments
  • Experience building documentation and project plans using Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
  • Capable of assessing project risks and mitigations
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
  • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
