About The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage end-to-end delivery of projects through effective collaborations.
- Collaborate with Clients, Vendors, Service Providers, and other internal/external stakeholders and obtain commitments for issue free delivery of small, medium size & large size projects.
- Establish project plans: define project scopes, secure the necessary resources & plans & monitor all project activities.
- Project execution: track project activities to ensure delivery, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations.
- Handle customer & stakeholder engagement: manage & build stakeholder confidence & trust, ensure
project progress arranging meetings & customer events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive a cross-functional services team to deliver customer’s projects on time, while maintaining Cost and Quality.
- Manage risk, issues, and dependencies at any project level.
- Ensure execution of all contractually obligated tasks and deliverables.
- Be the primary point of contact for the customer for engagements under your management.
- Interface with customers and partners on general and specific issues as well as involving other experts and/or management as necessary.
- Produce regular and detailed status reports to the customer, including schedule status, issues, risk, dependencies, and any other delivery related information which may impact target achievements or service delivery.
- Follow internal project processes to ensure smooth delivery.
- Prepare Project Schedule.
- Ensure project artifacts are submitted as per schedule.
- Contribute to Scope document and Change Requests.
Key Requirements:
Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in computer science or relevant subject in technology. Preferably holds a Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Science in Management.
- PMP or Prince2 certification or training (Preferred).
Experience Type:
- Minimum 6 years professional experience, specifically in the cards and payments domain.
- In-depth knowledge of project management techniques, tools and processes and detailed understanding of Project Management Methodology.
Job Specific Skills:
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients.
- English to be either first or second language.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management frameworks.
- Experience with Visio, MS Project and SharePoint, desired.
- Project Management experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and matrix environment.
- Excellent analytical & Presentation skills.
- Payment scheme related process.
- Cost tracking, reporting and overall financial tracking of a unit.
- Added advantage Skill - Knowledge of the below Systems (Preferred).
