Position Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide critical support in fulfilling the mission of Zero Studios with an opportunity to help challenge and define best practices. An entrepreneurial spirit and business-oriented focus are paramount. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining project health, including resource allocation planning, optimizing processes, and strategic planning.

You’ll work directly with our Project Management Director & Account Director(s) to manage 3-6 accounts primarily focused on Marketing & Social Media. We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation in these areas and who is exceptionally organized, possesses strong communication skills, and has the passion to manage and add value to each phase of a project.

Your primary responsibility will be to create strategic workstream plans that ensure delivery against project goals on time, on budget, and within scope. In this role, Zero is expecting a strategic, solution-oriented individual able to break down complex problems into actionable solutions within the scope of a project. You will serve as a guide to multi-disciplinary teams, shaping and refining processes that deliver on a project’s success. We expect this individual to provide high-quality client service while offering guardrails for the creative process.

You will be managing a broad range of tasks related to project planning and execution. Defining and implementing process efficiencies across internal operations as well as establishing relationships will be vital to your success.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Guide medium to large multi-disciplinary teams toward the common goal of executing on strategy.
  • Keep the team organized, over-communicate, avoid assumptions, and forecast risks to provide a plan of action.
  • Coordinate and lead key project meetings both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments, disciplines, and leadership levels to establish effective communication through reporting channels.
  • Support Zero’s financial health in monitoring project budgets, risks, and scope overages.
  • Cultivate key relationships while managing, identifying, and growing account opportunities.
  • Continually evaluate internal systems and increase efficiency.
  • Carry an intrinsic motivation toward key aspects of the role and provide high-quality client services. 
  • Lead Projects Autonomously
    • Approach every project with a plan, forecast risks, identify opportunities and ensure all executions not only meet client goals, but also achieve the quality expected at Zero.
    • Focus on planning, project tasks, assigning resources, creating timelines and driving execution.
    • Monitor and track project scope through close review of scoping documents and coordination with Account leads.
    • Identify change orders or addendums to the scope when necessary.
  • Lead Retainers Autonomously 
    • Establish a clear plan each month for the team and client.
    • Lead weekly syncs, prepare agendas, take notes, and think strategically.
    • Monitor resourcing, hour usage, and monthly budgets in collaboration with the Operations team.
 Skills & Competencies
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: launching a digital product, launching a marketing campaign, concepting and rollout of a social media campaign. 
  • Excellent time management, resource management, and planning skills.
  • Comprehension of plannings impact on business, i.e. how to structure and manage projects toward successful outcomes (margins, profitability, etc).
  • Positive attitude: enthusiastic and able to contribute at any given stage throughout the process; actively takes the lead on a given task and can pitch in wherever help is needed.
  • Well-versed in project management and communication tools including resourcing platforms, Notion, Figma, Google Suite, and Slack
 Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a brand or marketing role in a creative-driven environment.
 Reporting Structure
  • This position reports to the Project Management Director
 Compensation & Full Time Benefits
  • Annual salary range between $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience
  • Multiple medical plans with up to 80% of premiums covered by Zero
