You’ll work closely with our designers, developers, and strategists to ensure successful outcomes that align with both creative vision and technical execution.

Who We Are

Teal Media is a full-service creative and design agency with a conscience. We believe purposeful design can transform organizations, inspire action, and enable progress. Our clients and nonprofit partners are committed to creating positive social change—and we pour every ounce of our passion and skill into helping them succeed.

We offer a variety of strategic, creative, and technical services, including brand strategy, web design and development, and creative support.

We’re a woman-founded and woman-led firm with a team that reflects a broad range of lived experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. At Teal, we value our people above all else and choose to work with partners and clients who share those values.

What You’ll DoExecution
  • Independently manage all project types (Design, Branding, Web, Digital Marketing) with minimal oversight.
  • Lead the full project lifecycle—from kickoff to delivery—ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage complex project scopes with technical components, content migrations, and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and developers to ensure execution aligns with project strategy and scope.
  • Stay up to date on WordPress capabilities and troubleshoot technical issues alongside the development team.
  • Translate ambiguous or evolving client input into clear, actionable tasks.
  • Juggle multiple projects with ease, adjusting priorities as needed and shifting gears smoothly between workstreams.
  • Communicate consistently with clients and internal teams—providing updates, budget visibility, and milestone tracking.
  • Lead key client interactions including project kickoffs, check-ins, presentations, and close-outs.
  • Stay aware of potential new client opportunities and bring them to the account team when appropriate.
  • Represent project management expertise in client pitches and business development conversations.
  • Educate clients on Teal’s processes and best practices in a way that’s clear, confident, and relational.
Department Strategy
  • Offer insights that strengthen internal project management processes and workflows.
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvements to department practices and tools.
  • Share ideas and feedback that contribute to Teal’s overall operational effectiveness.
People Management
  • Support junior project managers through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and collaboration.
  • Contribute to hiring processes—interviewing and evaluating prospective PM team members.
  • Work alongside other PMs to divide duties efficiently and equitably across joint projects.
Leadership
  • Act as a steady, confident presence in high-stakes or uncertain moments—guiding teams through challenges.
  • Help shape the internal culture by fostering a collaborative, respectful, and psychologically safe environment.
  • Handle complex client dynamics with emotional intelligence, building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership within the PM team and across the company through your approach to project success and client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
  • 5+ years managing web and digital marketing projects
  • Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Confidence in client-facing roles, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and build trust
  • Proficiency with PM tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello) and comfort adapting them to the team’s needs
  • A strategic mindset and curiosity about clients’ evolving needs
  • Previous agency experience (strongly preferred)
