• Exceptional Communication: Confidently communicates design concepts and project status to clients, consultants, and jurisdiction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Design Mastery: Combine aesthetics, functionality, and technical precision to develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and material specifications.
• Time Management: Highly organized and methodical to deliver projects on time and to budget.
• Technical Proficiency: Good proficiency in Revit.

Long Term Growth
This role is designed with long-term growth in mind. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities.
Experience:
A minimum of 10-15 years of firsthand architectural design experience working on US based projects. At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and working on similar projects types. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Your Role:
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor, manage, and guide junior designers, providing oversight, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional growth within the team.
• Project Coordination: Manages own design projects with minimal or no supervision. Provide input on project designs from other team members. A proven ability to handle multiple, and often complex, projects. Complete a smooth transition from Design to Construction Documents (CDs).
• Design Excellence: Deliver the design of a project through entitlements phase and assists the production team. Mitigate risks and resolve design issues while ensuring client success.
• Client Relations: Define client goals and align expectations. Represent the firm in client facing and regulatory meetings.
• Regulatory & Industry Expertise: Experience in jurisdictional communications, city meetings, board, and council meetings. Demonstrates compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and entitlement submittals. Conduct site feasibility research and visit sites when required.
• Innovation & Growth: Identify emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to deliver quality designs.
