About Guidewire
Guidewire is the cloud platform that property and casualty (P&C) insurers worldwide rely on to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently. We combine digital, core, analytics, and machine learning capabilities and deliver them as a cloud service to support the entire insurance lifecycle for hundreds of insurers around the world.
About the team
The Product Marketing team at Guidewire is responsible for defining and executing our go‑to‑market strategy across our cloud platform, core applications, analytics, and rapidly expanding AI portfolio. As we scale our impact with sellers, partners, and customers, we are investing in product marketing operations to make the team more predictable, data‑driven, and effective.
About the role
This Senior Program Manager, Product Marketing Operations role exists to continuously improve how Guidewire's Product Marketing organization operates by owning and evolving its core programs, field communications, team reporting, shared templates, and operating processes while embedding AI-powered workflows that enable the team to move faster, produce higher-quality work, and operate in increasingly AI-native ways.
You will be the operational backbone for how Product Marketing communicates impact, plans work, and shows up with clarity for executives, Sales, Product, and cross‑functional partners. Your work will give your manager and the broader team room to focus on the highest‑leverage parts of the job instead of getting pulled into week‑to‑week execution.
There is no established reporting stack yet for Product Marketing, so part of the job is deciding what tools actually fit Guidewire’s environment and setting them up yourself. Before you build anything as a manual process, your first question should be whether it can run on its own instead.

Job Description

What you’ll ownNewsletter and ongoing communications
  • Program manage team communications across critical stakeholders, including the CRO and President's staff, to ensure strategic alignment and consistent messaging.

  • Craft engaging, pithy, TikTok-style copy, while fully owning the distribution metrics, performance insights, and stakeholder adoption of these communications.

Reporting, dashboards, and insights
  • Define and own the Product Marketing scorecard, exercising technical judgment to determine which KPIs to measure and identifying the optimal source systems—or combinations thereof—to extract them.

  • Foster a culture of accountability by empowering individual PMMs to own, monitor, and optimize metrics for their respective initiatives.

Automation and AI‑enabled workflows
  • Establish an AI-native PMM organization and influence other departments like Corporate Marketing and Field teams to do the same - build for scale

  • Audit repetitive work across newsletters, QBRs, and reporting, automating workflows with minimal human touch using lightweight platforms.

  • Build the PMM “brain” with AI: create and maintain 'Skills.md' files to drive rapid high quality content generation,

What you’ll bring
  • Strong program management expertise, including creating workback plans, managing RAID logs, and effectively coordinating across a spectrum of stakeholders, from executives to individual contributors.

  • Experience running recurring, high‑stakes deliverables (for example, QBRs, executive updates, board‑level reporting) under real deadlines.

  • Daily, hands-on use of agents and AI tools to move faster and improve quality, not just familiarity with the idea of them.

  • Enough technical judgment to evaluate and set up reporting and dashboard tools without needing someone else to do it for you.

  • The ability to get a team to adopt a shared process without having formal authority over the people using it.

  • Strong synthesis skills: you can translate complex work into clear, concise narratives that executives and cross‑functional partners can act on.

  • Comfort operating in a high‑growth, evolving environment where not all processes are defined yet and you enjoy defining and improving them.

Nice to have
  • Experience building lightweight automations or workflows (for example, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar), especially in a marketing or sales context.

  • Background in product marketing, marketing operations, or sales enablement within a B2B SaaS company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $228,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.

Accommodation requests should be directed to [email protected]. If things do not go as hoped, we invite you to use our appeals process. Guidewire promises to independently review any denied accommodation and any decision not to offer you the position. The appeals process is the same in either case. Guidewire will assign a new decision-maker to review the request and/or hiring decision, who will then notify you in writing of a decision within 10 business days.
