The Senior Program Manager plays a critical leadership role within the Innovation & Delivery Enablement organization, overseeing a collection of related Product and Engineering projects—collectively referred to as a program. Acting as the connective tissue between strategy and execution, this leader is deeply immersed in their programs and serves as the driver of end-to-end delivery, from initiation through launch and into closeout. They are expected to be omnipresent across their projects—not just informed but actively engaged in every facet of delivery, decision-making, and team alignment. They are responsible for driving clarity through proactive, transparent communication—ensuring stakeholders at every level understand program status, progress, and challenges.

The focus of this Senior Program Manager will be owning and driving high-impact programs focused on Partner Experience (enhancing the technology and tooling that empower NMI’s partners) and Data & Billing initiatives (improving operational and financial transparency across NMI’s ecosystem). They are responsible for driving clarity through proactive, transparent communication—ensuring stakeholders at every level understand program status, progress, and challenges.

This role requires a blend of strategic foresight, cross-functional leadership, and operational excellence—encouraging creative problem-solving while ensuring disciplined execution and measurable outcomes. The Senior Program Manager influences at the portfolio level, ensuring these critical initiatives deliver tangible business impact and partner value.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Leads programs from kickoff through delivery, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and delivering against success metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Orchestrate collaboration across Product, Engineering, and internal and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive outcomes.
  • Roadmap & Portfolio Integration: Align program milestones with organizational priorities, proactively managing dependencies and commitments.
  • Partner-Centric Delivery: Represent partner needs throughout program execution—ensuring solutions are scalable, intuitive, and drive business growth.
  • Advanced Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate program-level risks, manage interdependencies, and drive timely resolution.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Deliver executive-level visibility into program health, project status, and strategic alignment
  • Agile Leadership: Adapt program governance to maintain flexibility, transparency, and velocity in an evolving environment.
  • Mentorship & Thought Leadership: Coach peers and junior program managers, fostering a culture of delivery excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in technology organizations.
  • Proven success driving partner- or customer-facing initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in Agile delivery, program management frameworks, and risk governance.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience in FinTech, SaaS, or payment technology preferred.
  • Ability to translate strategy into action—balancing business needs with delivery reality.
