About the role:
The Senior Program Manager, AI Literacy & Enablement will input into the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of Blackbaud’s enterprise-wide AI Literacy program and AI Coalition for Social Impact learning paths. This role is pivotal in driving responsible AI adoption and proficiency across all functional areas, empowering teams to leverage AI tools effectively and ethically. You will serve as a thought leader and change agent, integrating AI governance, instructional design, and stakeholder engagement to foster a culture of innovation and responsible AI use.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define and execute the AI Literacy roadmap, and success metrics aligned with Blackbaud’s enterprise AI goals.
  • Establish proficiency frameworks tailored to diverse audiences (e.g., product teams, customer success, leadership, and technical staff).
  • Build and scale engagement initiatives including internal communications, adoption campaigns, role-specific playbooks, and a network of AI Champions.
  • Design and deliver multi-modal learning experiences (e.g., workshops, e-learning, simulations, office hours) that embed Responsible AI principles.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Governance to operationalize Responsible AI standards, including acceptable use, data handling, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure all training and enablement materials reflect current governance policies and ethical AI practices.
  • Partner with Learning & Development, Product Management, Engineering, and Knowledge Management to align AI enablement with platform capabilities and business needs.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications in alignment to the AI Certification for Social Impact and to develop client-facing materials and represent Blackbaud’s AI Literacy efforts externally.
  • Define and track adoption, engagement, and proficiency metrics; use insights to iterate and improve program effectiveness.
  • Support certification pathways and continuing education initiatives, where applicable.
  • Represent Blackbaud’s AI Literacy program at industry events, client engagements, and public forums.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in generative AI, legal tech, and AI regulation; translate insights into actionable updates for internal stakeholders.

What we'll expect you to have:

  • 8+ years of proven experience leading enterprise-wide learning or enablement programs, ideally in AI, data, or technology domains.
  • Deep understanding of responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and change management best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and L&D.
  • Experience designing and delivering scalable learning programs using modern instructional design methodologies.

The starting base pay is $101,900.00 to $132,800.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
