Geeks and Nerds (GaN) is currently accepting resumes for a Senior Program Control Analyst. We are seeking an exceptionally talented professional who thrives in collaborative environments and can work directly with Program Managers and other key stakeholders to support program execution.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage and grow your programmatic expertise, applying a broad range of skills across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance activities. Success in this position requires strong initiative, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of program control policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), internal controls, and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the formulation and management of program budgets and multi-year spend plans, providing analytical rigor and cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop program spend plans that are cost reasonable, effective, and realistic, supporting proposals, baseline execution, and forecast adjustments.
  • Exercise independent judgment in planning, prioritizing, and organizing a diversified workload in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Support Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions by ensuring financial, schedule, and programmatic data are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate contract actions with subcontractors, ensuring their cost and technical proposals are consistent with program requirements, statement of work (SOW), and contractual constraints.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracts, and Subcontracts to monitor execution, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interface with internal and external auditors, ensuring documentation and compliance with applicable cost principles and program guidelines.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 7+ years of prior program control experience supporting budget development, CDRL preparation, and internal reporting.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with a firm understanding of advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and integrating their financials into prime-level reports.
  • Experience supporting DoD, NASA, or other federal programs.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the industry and finance trends.

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting programs across both development and production lifecycles, with an understanding of how financial priorities shift through different phases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex financial data to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions (e.g., engineering, contracts, subcontracts, and PMO) while maintaining an independent, detail-oriented work ethic.

  • Current active secret clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
