Job Title: Senior Digital Product Owner

Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Digital Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of consumer-facing digital products that drive customer engagement and business value. This role acts as the bridge between Product Management and Agile development teams, ensuring that product vision is translated into actionable user stories and delivered with excellence.

This is a 12+ month project, 100% remote supporting EST hours, partnering with a major pharmaceutical client. The products you’ll manage are external-facing solutions that directly impact consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to understand the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Partner with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

  • User Story Creation: Translate product requirements from the Product Manager, Designer, or Business stakeholders into clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria. This includes identifying the edge cases not considered by Product Management.

  • Sprint Planning & Execution: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to guide development and ensure timely delivery.

  • Timelines: Define, monitor, and communicate timeline commitments to leadership based on current state analysis.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders. Gather feedback to continuously improve the product.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and user feedback to inform prioritization and product enhancements.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure features meet quality standards and user expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

  • 5–9 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager as part of an agile development team.

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Agile environments.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including UX/UI, engineering, and QA.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product analytics platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in digital product development, especially in web or mobile platforms.

  • Certification in Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO) or Agile methodologies.

  • Ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities.
