ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Owner (Client Delivery) with a dual focus on product development and client project management to support our cutting-edge embedded wealth technology solution. This role will empower clients to leverage our B2B SaaS financial platform, helping them design, develop and implement fintech software solutions while ensuring alignment to Apex’s long term product roadmap. This is a creative and ownership-driven role, requiring both technical fluency and client-centricity.

Duties/Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Relationship Building

  • Engagement: Partner closely with clients throughout their onboarding process, tailoring product features and integrations to meet their specific business needs and ensuring they are fully operational and supported.
  • Product Roadmap & Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to align product strategies and roadmaps, adapting onboarding processes and product features to meet evolving client requirements.
  • Feedback & Improvement: Create feedback loops to gather insights from clients, adjust strategies, and iterate product features for an optimal onboarding experience.

Product Development & Execution

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams including UI/UX design, business stakeholders and engineering to deliver client-focused product improvements in an Agile environment, ensuring every feature aligns with both client needs and higher level product objectives.
  • Backlog & Prioritization: Maintain an organized product backlog, continually refining and prioritizing to ensure impactful feature releases and consistent product evolution.
  • Active Scrum Participation: Drive Agile practices by actively participating in Scrum process, providing guidance, and aligning teams on product goals.

Lifecycle Management

  • Metrics & Success Measurement: Establish and communicate success metrics for client onboarding and product adoption, ensuring seamless handoff to customer support and success teams post-launch.
  • Product Launches: Lead product launches, manage client feedback, and maintain lifecycle processes, including beta testing and sunset strategies when needed.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field required; STEM background a plus
  • 5+ years of experience, particularly in technical product management with direct experience writing requirements, understanding technical requirements & driving feature development with engineering and designers
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience collaborating with those in different functional areas like Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Sales, Customer Support and/or Operations
  • Experience working in start-up environments is a plus

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to understand and interpret client needs, translating them into impactful product and onboarding solutions.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to clients and team members at all levels.
    Familiar with the architecture and technical decisions of a SaaS financial platform, capable of evaluating decisions against client objectives.
  • Familiarity with FinTech and/or B2B SaaS products
  • Strong skills in Agile project management, with the ability to focus and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability.

Salary Range

$124,400-$155,500

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
