In addition, you’ll play a key role in positioning Blackpoint competitively in the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) market by deeply understanding industry trends and the broader cybersecurity landscape. You’ll also partner on industry analyst engagement and influence efforts to strengthen Blackpoint’s market presence and reputation.

  • Tailor messaging across personas from IT, Security practitioners and MSPs.

Sales & Marketing Enablement

  • Build and maintain impactful assets such as pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, product videos, and web copy to support sales and marketing teams with the tools they need to drive customer engagement and adoption.

Internal Education & Enablement

  • Develop supporting documentation, presentations, and internal workshops.

  • Educate internal teams (Sales, Support, Enablement, etc.) on new product capabilities and market positioning through presentations, internal documentation, and workshops.

External Content Development

  • Partner with Marketing to create external-facing content, including product announcements, blog posts, webinars, email campaigns, and case studies

Customer Engagement & Feedback

  • Regularly engage with customers and partners to gather feedback, validate messaging, and align with real-world needs and use cases

Competitive Intelligence & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth competitive research to understand the cybersecurity landscape and inform product strategy

  • Identify key differentiators and deliver insights that support go-to-market and sales efforts

Event and Tradeshow Representation

  • Speak at industry events, webinars, and trade shows to promote Blackpoint’s platform.

  • Communicate our value proposition and grow brand awareness within the cybersecurity and MSP communities.

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, customer success, or sales engineering roles within the cybersecurity industry.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, concepts, and market trends—including common tools, frameworks, and buyer personas

  • Must be capable of intelligently evaluating Blackpoint’s offerings relative to competitors and articulating how our platform fits into modern security strategies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling content for both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as developing clear messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with target markets.

  • Proven ability to lead small to medium cross-functional projects with minimal oversight; highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Experience engaging with external stakeholders through webinars, presentations, or events

  • Comfortable working across departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success) to gather input and build alignment

  • Strong analytical and research skills; able to synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable strategies.
