About the Role

We're searching for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will be the voice of our product in the market. This role is about deeply understanding our customers, products, and competitive landscape to drive adoption and growth. You'll be responsible for developing compelling positioning, creating sales enablement materials and content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our product value resonates with target audiences.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Intelligence:

  • Define product positioning and messaging that differentiates Thoropass in the market.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new product features and offerings aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product messaging and future development.

Content Creation & Sales Enablement:

  • Create compelling product content including interactive demos, videos, case studies, and collateral that showcase product capabilities.
  • Collaborate on sales collateral, presentations, and training materials that articulate product value propositions.
  • Partner with sales teams to improve win rates and address competitive objections effectively.

Product Launch Management:

  • Plan and execute comprehensive product launch strategies, coordinating across departments.
  • Measure and report on launch performance, incorporating learnings into future releases.
  • Develop launch timelines, messaging frameworks, and success metrics for new product offerings.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure consistent product messaging.
  • Work with content marketing to develop thought leadership that showcases product expertise.
  • Build strong relationships with product management to understand the roadmap and translate features into benefits.

What You Need to Excel

  • Proven Expertise: 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in security, compliance, or related technical fields. Strong understanding of how to position complex technical products to various stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop positioning that resonates with technical decision-makers and drives business outcomes. Experience creating successful go-to-market strategies for B2B products.
  • Content Creation Skills: Hands-on experience producing engaging product content including interactive demos, videos, and visual collateral. Ability to translate technical features into compelling visual stories.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions. Skilled at creating clear, persuasive customer-facing and sales enablement materials.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding customer pain points and articulating how products solve real problems. Experience conducting customer interviews and incorporating feedback into product messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Track record of successfully partnering with product management, sales, and marketing teams to drive product success. Ability to influence without direct authority.

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is $120k - $160k base compensation with bonus opportunity and will be based on experience and skill set
