The Senior Product Marketing Manager at THREE will define market positioning, support sales with effective tools, and create compelling content for small business insurance.

THREE simplifies small business insurance by offering an all-in-one policy that covers everything a business needs — without the fine print and complexity that make traditional insurance so painful. A member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies, we’re on a mission to help entrepreneurs focus on what they do best: running their business, not deciphering their insurance policy.

At THREE, you’ll join a team of experienced insurance operators that chooses to run lean, promotes autonomy, and is charged with building a small commercial insurer that challenges the largest players in its space. We’re growing fast and looking for a strategic, yet hands-on Senior Product Marketing Manager to help define how THREE shows up in the market — through compelling positioning, content, and sales enablement that resonates with small business owners and agents alike.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will bring THREE’s unique value to life — translating complex insurance concepts into clear, compelling stories that resonate with customers and distribution partners. They will take market positioning and turn it into practical tools and programs that shape how THREE shows up in the market.

Reporting to the Director of Product and Operations, this person will work cross-functionally and closely with our contracted marketing agency. The ideal candidate pairs exceptional storytelling with a data-informed mindset, and thrives in a builder role as THREE’s first dedicated marketing hire. As our marketing needs grow, this role offers meaningful opportunity to expand scope and responsibility over time.

Job Responsibilities

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Implement and refine THREE’s positioning and messaging frameworks for agents and small business audiences.
  • Translate complex insurance concepts into simple, relatable language that differentiates THREE in the market through clear, compelling, and human narratives.

Market and Customer Research

  • Conduct ongoing research into the small business insurance landscape — market trends, competitors, and customer insights.
  • Partner with Product and Sales to identify opportunities for new messaging, campaigns, and product improvements.

Marketing Content Creation

  • Create and manage high-impact materials, including one-pagers, case studies, presentations, web copy, and other competitive tools that highlight THREE’s benefits and differentiators.
  • Collaborate with our contracted marketing agency, who will facilitate a market positioning and GTM framework, while also providing creative execution support, to ensure all content aligns with brand tone and market strategy.

Sales Enablement

  • Equip the Sales and Agency teams with the tools and narratives they need to sell effectively — from onboarding decks to competitive positioning and product demos.
  • Focus on shaping the narrative and value proposition that empower sales success, while partnering with others who handle training delivery and process details.

Customer Communication and Engagement

  • Inform the copy and cadence of customer-facing email communications, including onboarding, renewal, engagement, and transactional messages.
  • Partner with Product and Service teams to ensure communications are clear, consistent, and customer-centric.
  • Ensure messaging consistency and alignment with THREE’s brand voice.

Launch and Product Support

  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to support go-to-market messaging for new features, coverage changes, and initiatives — ensuring consistent storytelling across all channels.

What Success Looks Like

  • Increased adoption and consistent use of updated sales and marketing collateral by Sales team and external
  • Clearer articulation of THREE’s value proposition across agent and customer touchpoints.
  • Improved engagement metrics across key communications and campaigns.
  • Increased agent activation
  • Establish foundational marketing systems, processes, and templates that position THREE for future growth and team expansion.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Content Marketing, or Go-to-Market roles, ideally in a B2B or technical industry
  • Proven ability to translate complex, abstract concepts into clear, engaging, and human messaging.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across Product, Sales, and marketing agencies, with a track record of driving outcomes through influence rather than direct authority
  • High comfort level using AI tools to accelerate content creation, research, and campaign development.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills — clear, concise, and confident.
  • Experience in insurance, fintech, or another regulated/technical space is a plus but not required.
