Senior Product Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap across the product suite. Working in close partnership with the Senior Director of Product Management, you will translate strategic direction into clear, prioritized backlog items, functional requirements and delivery plans to ensure consistent, high-quality execution by development and design teams.

This is a hand-on, delivery orientated product role. The Product Manager will own the backlog quality, sprint readiness, cross-functional coordination and operational product management.

 What you will do: 

  • Backlog Ownership & Prioritization

    • Own and maintain the product backlog in alignment with the agreed product roadmap and strategic priorities.

    • Breakdown roadmap initiatives into workable items with clear acceptance criteria

    • Continuously groom, refine and re-prioritize the backlog items to ensure development teams’ velocity is maintained.

    • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Product Management to balance new feature development, technical debt and enhancements in line with agreed priorities.

  • Requirements & Specification Development

    • Translate high-level product direction into clear, functional requirements and detailed user stories.

    • Collaborate with development and design teams to review and deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, UX designs and ensure functional completeness before development starts.

    • Work closely with development to validate technical validity, identify dependencies and sequence work appropriately.

  • Delivery Execution & Team Collaboration

    • Function as the primary product interface for development and design teams.

    • Participate actively in

      • Sprint Planning

      • Weekly Meetings

      • Sprint Reviews/demos

      • Retrospectives

    • Product Operations & Cadence

      • Run weekly product updates and issues resolution meetings.

      • Track and communicate delivery status, scope change and key risks and associated mitigations.

    • Documentation

      • Work with our documentation team to ensure release notes and feature documentation are up to date.

  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for stakeholder engagement & communication.

  • Support quality, outcomes and continuous improvement.

What you will need: 

  • 3-5 years of experience working on or with B2B cloud-based SaaS enterprise solutions used by law firms and lawyers. 

  • Experience in product management – building and executing on product roadmaps in cross functional organizations.

  • Any prior experience with CRM-like products is a plus. 

  • Experience managing and/or developing products directly relevant to Legal, Accounting, Consulting, Financial Services and Real Asset industries is a plus. 

  • You have proven the ability to collaborate, build consensus, and influence others across a broad range of backgrounds, organizational levels, and personalities. 

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable speaking in front of an audience.

  • You have a technical aptitude to be able to effectively work with engineering at the API and SDK level. 

  • You have an innate ability to articulate technical features in terms of business risk and value through comprehensive story writing and impactful presentations. 

  • You possess strong analytical skills paired with a data-driven mindset and background. 

  • You are comfortable with some travel.
