Position Summary:

Our Delphix VP of Product is searching for a Senior Product Manager to join the team anddrive the roadmap and outcomes for Delphix Continuous Data - the data virtualization platform that powers high-velocity development by provisioning, refreshing, and managing compliant, versioned datasets across private and public clouds. The Senior Product Managerwill translate customer problems into clear strategy, partner closely with engineering and design, and bring to market capabilities that integrate with Data Control Tower (DCT), Continuous Compliance, CI/CD, and cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own and articulate the product strategy for Delphix Continuous Data across on-prem and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), aligned to company objectives and customer outcomes. 
  • Map customer jobs-to-be-done (test data management, data protection, storage optimization, AI-ready data, etc) to a coherent multi-release roadmap. 
  • Identify market opportunities in ephemeral test environments, data for DevOps, and platformengineering; quantify impact using customer and business metrics. 
  • Be an expert across our product, industry, and competition and leveragethat expertise to drive product innovation and capture market opportunities. 
  • Leverage the ecosystem to identify and deliver revenue generating partner-based solutions 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers and other team members. 

Product Execution & Lifecycle

  • Write succinct Product Briefs and experiments; prioritize ruthlessly using data, support insights, and field feedback 
  • Partner with engineering to deliver performant, resilient capabilities  
  • Drive integrations with internal products (Delphix and Perforce) and 3rd-party toolchains (Terraform, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Puppet, ServiceNow, Liquibase, testing tools). 
  • Define success metrics and run evidence-based iterations. 

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead market and customer discovery across technology executives, platform teams, DBAs, and app owners to validate problems and designs; champion the voice of the customer. 
  • Enable Sales, SEs, and Partners with positioning, value narratives, competitive insights, and launch collateral. 
  • Collaborate with Support and Customer Success to improve time-to-value and expansion (usage analytics, in-product guidance, playbooks, technical documentation). 
  • Create and deliver product-specific and thought leadership content including blogs and webinars 

Go-to-Market & Launch

  • Drive launch plans with Product Marketing: target personas, solution stories, and differentiated messaging (speed, cost, compliance). 
  • Present roadmap and demos to customers, analysts, and community audiences. 
  • Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, understanding costs, anticipating volume, and pricing custom orders 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the enterprise software tooling industry including ownership of technical products and platforms 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and MS/MBA preferred 
  • Domain depth in enterprise databases, storage, data protection & recovery, test data management, platform engineering, DevOps, and/or Kubernetes. 
  • Proven track record shipping products that integrate via APIs and automate workflows in CI/CD or platform engineering contexts. 
  • Comfort with technical concepts such as data snapshots, replication, bookmarks, masking/profiling, secrets/identity, RBAC, audit. 
  • Strong discovery and communication skills - able to write clear problem statements, Product Briefs, and go-to-market plans; confident presenting to executives, analysts, partners, and customers. 
  • Data-driven decision-maker experienced with product analytics and experimentation. 
  • Leverage AI to accelerate product management activities as well introduce AI-powered in-product experiences. 
  • Ability to travel globally up to 25% and engage with senior technical leadership 

Preferred Experience:

  • Deep experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other cloud data services 
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, ephemeral environments, and test automation and test data management 
  • Background in data governance and compliance (e.g., PII, GDPR/CCPA) and/or platform/SRE practices (SLOs, reliability, observability). 
  • Exposure to ecosystem tools such as ServiceNow, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Puppet, Liquibase, and enterprise test automation. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and MS/MBA preferred 
  • Multiple language skills including Spanish, Italian and/or Portuguese
