As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead complex product initiatives and drive strategic decision-making, demonstrating expertise and in-depth knowledge in your area of product management. You will play a key role in defining the product roadmap, shaping the overall product strategy, and delivering impactful solutions to the market.


The impact you'll have:

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities, making autonomous decisions and exercising judgment within your area of expertise.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize features, manage product backlogs, and drive product development efforts, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Drive product innovation through comprehensive market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis, applying critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to complex challenges.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align product strategy with company goals and strategic initiatives, seeking input or approval for decisions that have significant impact or require cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and iterate based on insights, leading projects and initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Actively contribute to the development and improvement of processes and workflows, demonstrating well-honed skills and expertise in product management.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful product launches and managing complex job functions and responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, and customer needs, applying analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving organizational success through innovative product strategies.
  • Experience working with back end systems and services.
  • Comfortable reading system diagrams, API specs, etc.
  • Comfortable collaborating on high-level architecture.
  • Ability to surface and size tech debt work.
  • Comfortable with Git, backlog grooming for highly technical work, and reading PR comments and discussions to help unblock/move work.

U.S. Pay Range
$100,000$133,000 USD

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate, and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience. Our team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
