Lead strategy and execution for growth in Affinity apps, developing product roadmaps and facilitating cross-department collaboration to drive innovation and excellence.
Affinity is a division of Match Group that drives our fastest-growing dating and social products. Every month, millions of users come to our Affinity apps like BLK, Chispa, Yuzu, Upward and Salams, to make great connections that embrace our users' sense of community.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to spearhead growth for our Affinity portfolio (BLK, Chispa, Yuzu, Upward and Salams). You'll be at the forefront of integrating and scaling innovative features as well as drive the growth and strategic direction of our Affinity products while ensuring alignment with our broader company objectives.
When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas, TX office 3 days/week. If you are not based in Dallas, we will be offering relocation assistance for this position.
How you'll make an impact:
- Vision and Strategy: In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution for growth experiences across our Affinity apps. This is an exciting opportunity for a product manager with passion and curiosity building social technologies that spark meaningful connection.
- Product Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive product roadmap, collaborating closely with stakeholders to align vision and execution. Make informed product decisions based on a thorough understanding of market demands while working closely with the User Research and Analytics teams. Ideal candidates would have a strong focus on driving results and be able to lead product planning with a clear view of how the product roadmap contributes to Affinity's overall goals.
- Collaborative Leadership: Harness your leadership qualities to facilitate collaboration across various departments including Design, Analytics, User Research, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Trust & Safety. In this role, you will play a crucial part in pinpointing product opportunities, clarifying challenges, and driving solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your capability to strategically integrate diverse team efforts and align them with the product vision is essential. This coordination ensures a unified approach to product planning and execution that aligns with our broader objectives.
- Efficient Execution: Cultivate a culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor while delivering delightful and well-designed product experiences to our members.
You'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic product management in a high-velocity consumer tech company.
- Proven track record of driving innovation initiatives in a product management capacity.
- Familiarity with new and emerging technologies and trends, especially those relevant to the social discovery space.
- Ability to prioritize the highest impact projects, break them down into milestones to test key assumptions, develop hypotheses through fast experimentation, and pivot based on experiment learnings.
- Highly effective written & spoken communication skills, and the ability to convey a succinct message to cross functional partners and leadership teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
