We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Student Engagement to help shape and guide the development of a new, innovative software product designed to improve the teaching and learning experience in higher education. This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate directly with academic leaders and internal teams to build a new product with global impact. 

You’ll be highly visible, as the voice shaping the understanding of our portfolio of student engagement products. This externally facing role involves partnering with faculty, instructional designers, and academic administrators. You’ll help form and lead our Product Advisory Board and coordinate a cohort of development partners. You’ll also bring clarity and alignment to internal and external audiences through strategic messaging and communication assets—from presentations to sales enablement tools. 

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll serve as a key connector between our customers, partners, and internal product leaders, bringing market insight, competitive intelligence, and user feedback that directly shapes our roadmap and helps us tell a clear, compelling story in the market. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

  • 7+ years of experience leading products through the product lifecycle 

 

It would be great if you also have… 

  • MBA, PHD or advanced degree in education, instructional design, or a related field 

  • Professional experience in the higher-education or education technology markets 

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences 

  • Familiarity with market analysis, customer insights, and business intelligence 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making 

  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities across cross-functional teams 

  • Ability to define and communicate product vision and strategy 

 

What will you be doing in this role?... 

Product analysis and optimization 

  • Collaborate with the team to form and lead our Product Advisory Board. 

  • Evaluate product market competitiveness and user feedback to continuously improve product features and performance. 

  • Use data analysis and user research methods to improve product user satisfaction. 

Product strategy 

  • Bring valuable insight into the workflows, needs, and motivations of faculty and academic stakeholders to help shape the product roadmap. 

  • Develop messaging and positioning for our suite of student engagement products in higher education. 

  • Survey the rapidly changing competitive landscape and synthesize insights for the product team. 

Product go-to-market 

  • Understand market priorities, drive activities to deliver product to market according to roadmap and prioritization decisions, develop launch package including pricing and product bundling options; targeted segments; and competitive analysis. 

  • Own and execute internal release readiness including sales, customer support, and customer success training and enablement. Work with marketing to create clear, compelling communication assets for internal and external use. 

  • Support sales and marketing teams with consistent, differentiated messaging across channels. 

Cross-departmental communication and coordination 

  • Engage with key stakeholders; Technology, UX, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations to guide capabilities and constraints. 

  • Work closely with R&D, Marketing and other departments to ensure consistency in product development and promotion. 

  • Lead internal updates that keep stakeholders across teams aligned with product progress and market response.

We work closely with users and academic partners across institutions to ensure every feature we deliver makes a meaningful impact in the classroom and beyond.
