The Senior Product Manager will lead strategy and development for Square Inventory, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory workflows and drive seller engagement.

The Role
We're looking for a sharp, strategic Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap on the Square Inventory team-the operational core for how Retail and Food & Beverage sellers run their businesses.
You'll lead a cross-functional team building end-to-end inventory workflows: ordering, receiving, tracking across locations, selling, and surfacing actionable insights. This isn't just back-office tooling-it's daily-use, mission-critical infrastructure for hundreds of thousands of sellers.
In this role, you'll drive both 0→1 and 1→n product bets, define long-term platform strategy, and partner tightly with design, engineering, and go-to-market to launch scalable, intuitive experiences that help sellers grow faster and operate more efficiently.

- Develop and own the product strategy and execution for best-in-class inventory workflows, driving deeper seller engagement with the Square ecosystem.
- Define and communicate the multi-year vision for the inventory product, ensuring alignment with industry trends and specific needs of our sellers.
Product Development
- Drive the development of innovative and industry-leading inventory products across web and native platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Data Science, to align and execute the product roadmap.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team fostering an environment that encourages creativity, efficiency, and a commitment to quality.
- Influence key stakeholders across Square to align inventory product vision, prioritization and success with the goals of key customer verticals.
You Have
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- A collaborative approach: You have a track record of driving alignment and delivering results with cross-functional partners.
