Senior Product Manager – Justworks, Inc. – 55 Water Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10041
Salary Range: $179,982 - $200,000
DUTIES: Focus on building taxation services powering payroll products. Help model the complex world of taxation in software that is fast, accurate, and scalable. Be a product leader on a mission-critical team. Work closely with various stakeholders across the business to ensure the Payments and Tax Unit is being enabled to scale its operations. Design products, services, and APIs powering tax computation, withholding, and reporting for customers. Work collaboratively with engineers, product designers, fellow product managers, and other stakeholders to bring new products and features to customers. Channel empathy for internal stakeholders to create better user experiences with an eye towards making workflows easier and more efficient. Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders as well as available data, including Voice of Customer data, external market data, and existing company data. Partner with and lead cross-functional teams (i.e., Design, Engineering, Sales, and Operations) to set product vision and strategy. Define and socialize the roadmap of product area through deep research and understanding of business goals. Create specifications and testing plans, identify and mitigate potential risks, and hold work to high quality standards. Bring solutions to market through ownership of the full product lifecycle: problem identification, solution design, specification, implementation, and validation. Participate in technical huddles with engineers and in strategic discussions with leadership. Manage competing priorities with consistency and transparency. Continuously prioritize needs of customers and internal stakeholders, reassessing as needed. Create metrics and goals around feature launches, measuring and iterating success post-launch. Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required. Five years of software product management experience required. Five years of experience required with learning new and complex domains quickly, building prioritized roadmaps and backlogs, writing product requirements, and with Agile methodology. Three years of experience required building products, leading a pod and driving collaboration with stakeholders, participating in user research to inform product decisions, measuring the impact of business decisions, and with analytics data tools and concepts including SQL, Business Intelligence tools, and A/B testing. Must be able to work a hybrid work arrangement with Tuesdays and Thursdays required in office.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
