Senior Technical Product Manager, Integrations

About the role

The Senior Technical Product Manager, Integrations role at Human Interest is responsible for managing the roadmap for Human Interest’s portfolio of payroll provider integrations. Payroll provider integrations are the backbone of Human Interest’s go-to-market motion. They allow us to offer retirement plans to companies in the first place, and automate critical functions that would otherwise result in work for our customers and operations teams.

You will own the product strategy for integrations, lead the roadmap for a dedicated engineering team, and directly manage a product operations team who is dedicated to integration health. You will report directly to our Senior Director of Technology.

What you get to do every day

• Create a product strategy that balances achieving healthy integrations, building new integrations, and automating work for our operations teams
• Thoughtfully navigate tradeoffs with key stakeholders in Partnerships, Customer Success, and Engineering
• Directly manage a product operations team, ensuring that they deliver high quality service to our customers and payroll partners
• Write clear requirements documents, and unblock engineering teams to deliver high quality work on time
• Define and own goals that measure success, rigorously deep dive errors, and continuously refine your strategy and roadmap

What you bring to the role

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 7+ years of product management experience
• Experience owning a roadmap for a dedicated engineering team for a technical product area
• Self-sufficient ability to root cause analyze issues and propose fixes to technical issues
• Experience directly managing a team of 3+ individuals
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the U.S. The base salary for this position spans $180,000 - $200,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered.
