About the Role:
Crusoe Cloud is hiring a talented Product Manager for our workload orchestration services, used by customers to deploy training, fine-tuning and inference workloads on our carbon-reducing, AI-focused cloud platform. This growing customer base includes cutting-edge AI companies and enterprise AI teams who run on our high performance GPU clusters.
As the cloud orchestration specialist in our product team, you will own the roadmap for our orchestration services with primary responsibility for Crusoe Managed Kubernetes (CMK), our managed Kubernetes offering. This will involve meeting with current and potential customers to understand their needs, prioritizing and defining relevant capabilities, driving key product tradeoff decisions and ensuring high-quality product delivery by working with engineering. Your role will also involve cultivating a marketplace of AI-focused integrations to expand our customer base and meet diverse needs. Success in this role will involve working closely with many other Crusoe teams, including those focused on the underlying infrastructure and the user-facing software layer of our cloud.
What You'll Be Working On:

Understand and empathize with our customers and gather their feedback.

Synthesize customer feedback and broader market analysis into concrete product features and integrations.

Collaborate with stakeholders including Cloud Software Engineering, Customer Success, SRE, Finance, and the Executive team to define detailed product specifications and execution timelines.

Distill complex technical details into executive facing narratives, presentations and decision documents.

Create product documentation, support customers through various channels, and partner with marketing on defining cloud product messaging.
Essential Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.

5+ years of technical product management experience, or of product-minded engineering experience.

Experience working with Kubernetes or similar orchestration services, either from a product or engineering standpoint

Proactive and self-directed: must be able to define and scope new initiatives with minimal guidance.

Versatile: must be able to adapt to new technologies and be open to exploring new orchestration services (like Slurm)

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Familiarity with AI/ML or HPC workloads and how they interact with container orchestration systems

Experience with managed Kubernetes services like GKE, EKS, AKS, etc.

Working understanding of the cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies that support container orchestration.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $175,000 - $205,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
