Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, Equipment Monitoring, and Site Visibility. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

Samsara's mission is to increase the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the operations that power the global economy. Our customers span industries from transportation and logistics to government and field services. Within this mission, our Fleet Operations & Security teams build essential tools to help customers optimize how their assets are used and protect them from theft, fraud, and misuse.

In this role, you’ll work as a key individual contributor focused on building tools for specialized fleets—such as emergency services and public sector operations—to plan, act, and learn effectively during large-scale events and critical incidents. You’ll help develop solutions that enable rapid coordination and situational awareness in high-stakes scenarios, from managing fire, police, or snow operations to optimizing the use of shared assets. This includes capabilities like keyless entry and usage-based insights, empowering customers to operate smarter, safer, and more efficiently.

You will shape and execute a roadmap that blends customer-specific needs with scalable, cross-market solutions, collaborating closely with engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams. Whether developing new AI-powered asset utilization features or strengthening protections against theft and unauthorized vehicle use, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how Samsara’s customers manage and secure their fleets globally.

We are looking for a thoughtful, hands-on product manager who is energized by complex problems, enjoys working directly with customers, and thrives on turning insights into impactful, user-friendly solutions. If you're excited to drive innovation in critical infrastructure, this role is for you.

This is a remote position open to candidates on the US East/Central coast.

You should apply if:
  • You want to solve real-world problems that impact how cities are run, goods are delivered, and workers are protected.
  • You are passionate about building products that blend data, machine learning, and customer insight.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and want to help shape how we scale product excellence across new geographies and market segments.
  • You enjoy getting close to customers and are energized by building empathy, trust, and feedback loops.
  • You want to work on a highly visible team with leadership opportunities and significant ownership of strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will:
  • Build and evolve products for fleet operations (e.g. asset planning, route insights)
  • Use AI and data to deliver insights that help customers optimize fleet usage and improve safety
  • Work directly with customers to understand needs and gather feedback
  • Work closely with the engineering team in Poland
  • Partner with sales, support, and engineering to drive adoption and execution
  • Help define strategy in key regions, including the U.S, Mexico, and EMEA
Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Have 4+ years of product experience with a track record of shipping impactful features
  • Enjoy solving hard problems for real-world users
  • Are data-driven, structured in your thinking, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Want to own products end-to-end - from customer insights to go-to-market
An ideal candidate also has:
  • Experience in IoT, fleet / telematics, security, or public sector tech
  • Familiarity with AI/ML features or anomaly detection
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
Location:
  • Preferred: United Kingdom (close collaboration with our engineering team in Poland) or US east/central coast
