Role Summary:
As a Sr. Product Manager at Filevine, you'll be a critical force in shaping the future of our legal technology platforms. You'll take ownership of new product initiatives, from conception to market launch, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and driving business growth.
You’ll work on products in the Depositions by Filevine platform, an AI-powered legal-tech solution that revolutionizes how law firms and legal teams manage depositions. From automated scheduling and seamless hosting to real-time AI analysis, goal tracking, and post-deposition synthesis, a product transforming a traditionally manual process into an integrated, data-driven system
Responsibiliites
- Delivering the product vision: Develop comprehensive product plans, specifications, and user stories that bring high-quality features and enhancements to life.
- Roadmap Execution: Work collaboratively with product leadership and teams to continually execute against the product roadmap.
- Championing the user experience: Own the product's UX and feature set development, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for every user.
- Building strong partnerships: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to craft usable user experiences and deliver effective solutions. You'll be the voice of the customer in the development process, ensuring features are built to solve real-world problems.
- Bridging the gap: Translate complex customer and business needs into clear, actionable specifications, business rules, flows, and use cases.
- Customer Adoption: Actively hop on customer calls to understand their needs and pain points firsthand to inform product decisions and improve their experience.
- Data-driven decision-making: Analyze data and customer feedback to identify problems, measure results, and prioritize opportunities.
- Agile work style: Slice user stories into manageable chunks, define acceptance criteria, and work iteratively with engineers
- Prioritization master: Anticipate bottlenecks, collaborate with teams to optimize the backlog, and ensure projects align with business needs and long-term goals.
- Quality assurance champion: Help with product acceptance testing, working with QA, engineers, and customers.
- Launch leader: Drive zero-to-one product launches and contribute to go-to-market. Partner with the GTM team to build value propositions, marketing videos, email copy, and one-pagers that capture the essence of your product and resonate with target audiences.
- Evangelizing your product: Proactively educate everyone within the organization about your product area, creating excitement, and buy-in. Ensure everyone is equipped to advocate for your creations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent certifications/experience).
- 5+ years of software product or project management experience in SaaS environments; experience in Legal, Legal Tech, or AI strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience delivering software solutions for the legal industry, ideally related to depositions (preferred).
- Deep knowledge of software development methodologies and hands-on experience working within the full software development life cycle.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems creatively, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and maintain a strong focus on business success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a consistently data-driven approach; experienced in Agile/Lean delivery frameworks.
- Passionate about driving efficiency, quality metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Willing to travel as needed to Salt Lake City headquarters, customer sites, prospects, or industry conferences across the US and Canada.
Compensation Information: $160,000 - $185,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. The total compensation package for this position will be determined by each individual’s location, qualifications, education, work experience, skills and performance. We believe in the importance of pay equity - the range listed is just one component of Filevine’s total compensation package for employees. This position is also eligible for a paid time off policy, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
