WHO WE ARE
ActBlue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating cutting-edge technology that fuels Democratic victories and enables progressive causes to thrive.
Our vision is simple: building change through the power of people. Since our founding, we’ve been building innovative solutions to revolutionize grassroots fundraising – if you’ve donated to a Democratic campaign or a progressive organization online, you’ve probably used our platform! We believe in putting power in the hands of small-dollar donors by helping thousands of groups — from local candidates to national movements — mobilize their communities and create a lasting impact. Every member of our team is deeply committed to advancing our shared mission and core values. Together, we are shaping the future of democracy.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a results-driven, analytically minded Senior Product Manager to own critical fundraising product areas that directly impact how donors donate money via ActBlue.
In this high-impact role, you'll work directly with the core experiences that drive billions of dollars in political fundraising and shape how progressive campaigns and causes engage with their supporters.
You'll lead product strategy and execution for donation workflows, event ticketing, and e-commerce experiences while driving growth through sophisticated user behavior analysis and conversion optimization. Working across engineering, design, marketing, and campaign teams, you'll bridge technical development and go-to-market execution.
Perfect for a strategic product leader who wants to revolutionize fundraising technology and make a meaningful impact on democratic engagement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for core fundraising experiences, including donation checkout workflows, event ticketing, and e-commerce transactions
- Drive sophisticated analysis of user behavior, conversion funnels, and revenue patterns to identify growth opportunities
- Work closely with campaigns to understand complex fundraising requirements and translate them into scalable product solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, support, customer success, marketing, legal, and finance teams to deliver end-to-end value to donors and the campaigns they support
- Communicate product strategy and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Define, measure, and manage success through robust experimentation and metrics tracking
- Act as the connective tissue between product development and go-to-market execution
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of product management experience with focus on conversion optimization, user engagement, or revenue growth
- Experience in checkout/conversion flows, transaction-heavy products, event management, or e-commerce platforms
- Proven track record of building end-user experiences that drive retention and revenue
- A product mindset grounded in discovery, experimentation, and continuous improvement
- Passion for outcome-driven product development
- Experience working with geographically distributed, cross-functional product teams in the process of creating – and shipping – complex products, and you're excited about solving complicated product challenges at scale
- Experience working in high-stakes environments where product performance directly impacts business outcomes
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.) and ability to interpret complex user data
- Strong experimentation background—A/B testing, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision making
