It's a new day with a new opportunity at 8am!

About the role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager, Business Management to lead how 8am transforms financial operations for legal and accounting professionals. This is both a strategic and hands-on execution role—ideal for someone who combines deep understanding of accounting workflows, financial analytics, and compliance with experience building solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

In this role, you will own and deliver the vision for Analytics & Reporting, MyCase Accounting, and cross-solution financial intelligence that powers 8am's Professional Business Platform. You will focus on making it faster and easier for firms to reconcile bank accounts, understand profitability, maintain compliance, and gain actionable financial insights—all while integrating seamlessly across 8am’s solutions for invoicing, payments, legal accounting, Smart Spend, and other embedded financial solutions to generate unified insights and workflows across our financial ecosystem.

You will reduce manual work and help firms make data-driven business decisions by  leveraging AI and automation to power intelligent bank reconciliation, prioritizing real-time financial intelligence and embedding accounting throughout practice management workflows. Your work directly addresses critical pain points: tedious manual reconciliation, lack of profitability visibility, compliance anxiety, and fragmented financial systems.

You will partner closely with 8am's AI Platform and Data Science teams to identify opportunities where AI and automation, such as LLMs, machine learning and predictive modeling, can transform manual processes into automated, intelligent workflows that deliver measurable customer value.

You will operate as a leader within our empowered team model, working in close collaboration with a UX Designer and Tech Lead in a trio partnership. The right candidate deeply understands accounting and financial operations, has a track record of delivering measurable customer and business impact, and is excited to apply AI to transform how small businesses manage their business finances.

About us:

At 8am, our vision is to power a world where professionals thrive. We start every day on a mission to empower professionals with the most trusted, innovative technology to deliver world-class outcomes for their clients and exceptional financial results for their business. They count on our purpose-built solutions to simplify operations, ensure compliance, and fuel profitable growth, so they can focus on their clients and do more of the work that matters.
