As a Product Manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for the overall efficacy and impact of the product features in your area of responsibility. Specifically, that means that you will own the customer voice for your product area, and therefore will be the decision maker for prioritization for your cross-functional team of designers and engineers. You’ll also be responsible for collaborating more broadly with cross-departmental partners like Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to deeply serve customers throughout their Vanta journey.

The Automation group at Vanta manages how customers discover and connect to other platforms through integrations, use that data to power product experiences and tests, drive customers toward compliance-related security outcomes, and ultimately generate evidence for audit. As a PM in the Automation group, you will help support our customers in testing their data as well as enabling them to continuously monitor their compliance program.

What you’ll do as a Senior Product Manager, Automation at Vanta:

  • Deeply understand our customers and our market

  • Distill complex problems and opportunities into clearly prioritized product goals, focus for your team, and high-quality execution in collaboration with stakeholders across the company

  • Deliver a high quality product addressing key customer pain points and creating opportunities for competitive advantage

  • Help to define and shape Vanta's product team culture as we grow

How to be successful in this role:

  • Have some prior experience working with cloud products, in cybersecurity products, and/or with data products and querying interfaces. You should feel comfortable helping customers distill insights out of their data.

  • Have 4+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record for delivering high-quality products to customers

  • Possess a customer-focused mindset, proactively reaching out to customers and prospects, while simultaneously partnering with go-to-market teams

  • Ability to see how various products and features should fit together to serve different user groups, with the analytical skills to justify the approach being taken

  • Be deeply curious, empathetic, and user-centric, with a knack for driving effective collaboration amongst your stakeholders

  • Have the ability to bring a product roadmap to life through consistent execution and project management

  • Excellent communication both written and verbal, to effectively communicate ideas and requirements to team members, stakeholders, and executives
