About the team and the role:

eBay, Inc. seeks Senior Product Manager 2 -Technical  in San Jose, CA

What you will accomplish:

Own product strategy and roadmap for several initiatives within eBay Payments. Prioritize product requirements based on data-driven opportunity analysis to build a detailed roadmap. Communicate the roadmap and success metrics to different teams and executive leadership teams. Lead the execution of the roadmap by working with data science, engineering, legal, and analytics teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast, and be the champion of execution excellence. Conduct AB tests for launch candidates and work with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metrics. Balance the often conflicting needs of risk systems and sellers to grow the advertising business sustainably in the long term. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

What you will bring:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1.    Experience setting the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product or product line (3 years).
2.    Experience creating long-term product vision that aligns with business objectives and customer needs (3 years).
3.    Experience conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape (3 years).
4.    Experience with user experience (UX) principles to incorporate user feedback into product design (3 years).
5.    Experience analyzing data, understanding metrics, and making data-driven decisions to improve product performance (3 years).
6.    Experience overseeing the product development lifecycle and ensuring timely delivery (3 years).
7.    Experience with the technology stack and technical challenges involved in product development (3 years).
8.    Experience with the business model, revenue streams, and cost structures to make profitable product decisions (3 years).

Salary: $223,142.00-263,300 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
