About Feldera

Feldera is redefining how engineers compute over changing data. Powered by an award-winning breakthrough in database theory (DBSP), our platform incrementally maintains even the most complex SQL views as data changes, even when pipelines have hundreds of joins, aggregates, unions, and even recursion. It has allowed leading enterprises to have always-on real-time insights over both live and historical data, with 10x lower cost and 100x faster time-to-production.

In this role, you'll own the surfaces where people actually experience Feldera — the web UI, the cloud portal, and everything customer facing — and shape the end-to-end journey from a developer's first visit to a power user running pipelines in production.

The Role

We're looking for a full stack product engineer to own and evolve how users experience Feldera. You'll design and build the web UI and the cloud portal, and you'll think holistically about the entire user journey — from learning about Feldera, to onboarding, to authoring and operating pipelines day to day. You'll work across the stack on polished interfaces, how they relate to services behind them, and you'll bring a genuine eye for design to everything you ship. This is a role for someone who is unhappy shipping something that merely works, and wants it to feel right.

What You'll Do

  • Product surfaces: Own and evolve Feldera's web UI and cloud portal — the interfaces customers use to author, deploy, manage, and observe their pipelines.

  • User journey: Think through the full experience end to end — first impression, signup, onboarding, day-to-day workflows — and find and fix the friction that stands between a new user and their first success.

  • Design & UX: Bring an eye for design to everything. Translate complex, technical workflows into interfaces that are clear, fast, and genuinely pleasant to use. Partner on (or drive) the visual and interaction design, not just the implementation.

  • Full stack engineering: Work across the stack — front-end interfaces and the APIs and services behind them — to ship complete features, not just the parts that show.

  • Collaboration with the platform: Work closely with the backend engineering team so the product surface faithfully exposes the power underneath.

  • Quality & polish: Own the details — performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and the small touches that separate a tolerable tool from one people love.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong full stack experience building production web applications, with real depth on the front end (TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Svelte, or Vue).

  • A demonstrable eye for design — you can take a vague or messy workflow and turn it into a clean, intuitive interface, and you care about typography, layout, and interaction details. Portfolio or examples of shipped work are strongly valued.

  • Solid command of the fundamentals: HTML/CSS, responsive layout, accessibility, and front-end performance.

  • Comfort working across the stack — building and consuming APIs, and reasoning about the services behind the UI.

  • Product sense: the judgment to weigh user needs, prioritize what matters, and make good calls with limited direction.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to debug issues across the front end and back end.

  • Self-directed with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.

  • Bonus: experience designing for developer or data tooling, comfort with data-dense UIs, or design-tool fluency (Figma).

Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.

Working at Feldera

We're a small, technical team building a category that doesn't exist yet. A few things worth knowing before you apply:

  • Fully remote. Distributed across the U.S. and abroad. We hire for timezone overlap, not location.

  • Flat organization with high autonomy, ownership and asynchronous collaboration. You'll work directly alongside the founders.

  • Fast and honest. We move quickly, decide based on evidence, course-correct openly, and expect you to do the same.

  • Rewarded for impact, not tenure. We recognize what you ship, the outcomes it drives, and how much you raise the team's ceiling.

If this sounds energizing, do apply. If not, we're probably not the right fit.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary & meaningful equity

  • Medical, dental & vision - 90% of premiums covered by Feldera

  • HSA & FSA

  • 401(k)

  • Fully remote
