About the Role

Hungryroot is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. As a Senior Product Designer on the Digital team, you will be focused on improving our digital experience for our customers. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about designing products that make eating healthy easy, personal, and sustainable.

You’ll join a team of designers that collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including product managers, engineers, researchers, and analytics. You’ll be an integral part of the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and will drive the design strategy and vision for the app and website.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside other designers to oversee the user experience of a product from concept to launch
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including product managers, engineers, designers, analytics and researchers and use effective storytelling to drive the team towards a consensus.
  • Think and design at a system level rather than thinking about elements individually on the page
  • Deliver high quality designs with simple, intuitive user flows that showcase your understanding of the problem at hand as well as the business goals/requirements
  • Work with design systems to design, improve, and expand the components within the system
  • Give and solicit feedback from designers and the broader product team in order to continually improve the product.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience designing digital products, either on web or native apps
  • Experience in interaction (UX) design and UI design, strong visual design 
  • Portfolio demonstrates a user-centered design process, with the ability to create an experience based on the user’s needs and goals
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience with or openness to AI design workflows 
  • Strong prototyping skills in order to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies, usability testing, and A/B testing 
  • Experience working cross functionally with Product, Analytics and Engineering

Expected Pay Range:
$150,000 - $190,000
