We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of Datadog’s design ecosystem across our suite of products and platform experiences. You’ll play a key role in crafting cohesive, user-centered solutions that empower customers to visualize, monitor, and optimize their systems with confidence. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers across multiple teams to simplify complex workflows and create elegant, scalable design solutions that span our 70+ products.At Datadog, we value the relationships and creativity that thrive in our office culture. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end design work, from user research and concepting to high-fidelity prototyping and production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (PMs, engineers, and fellow designers) to ensure we build the right experiences for our customers.
  • Contribute to and evolve Datadog’s cohesive design language and overall UX vision across products and platform.
  • Advocate for user needs through thoughtful design decisions and clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop deep expertise in your focus area while sharing knowledge and best practices across the broader design team.
  • Champion design thinking and promote a high-quality, consistent user experience across the entire Datadog ecosystem.

Who You Are:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in digital product design, preferably within SaaS or other complex systems.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates end-to-end design execution with measurable impact and high-quality user experiences.
  • You are an excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You’re proficient in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Framer, InVision, Principle).
  • You think in systems and are comfortable working within and contributing to component-based design patterns.
  • You value feedback and collaboration, helping to elevate both your own work and that of your peers.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
