Job Description

Our Consultant II/Senior Process control engineer works on projects like developing and executing process control system integration projects and performing design, development and testing of electrical equipment and control systems, every day.

Our Consultant II works on exciting projects conducting the installation, commissioning, and operations of our projects. The role will also include you to be involved in PLC Programming; HMI Design work, DeltaV DCS programming, Electrical Design, Commissioning, Troubleshooting/Testing/Debugging and Project Documentation,. Being a Consultant II , you will assist with quoting projects, write specifications, schedules and technical reports. You will also manage portions of projects as assigned (budgeting; other general project management responsibilities) and completely handle and lead small to medium size projects. The Consultant II gets exposed to aid in project management, business development and client service management.

We are looking for someone with a solid background in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical preferred) and at least 5+ to 7+ years of technical automation and controls engineering experience. Someone who is interested to dive deeper into new and varied automation software’s, perform electrical design, design manufacturing operating systems from scratch, work on instrumentation and design and continuously improve process knowledge and be able to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.

On a typical day you will:

  • Architect control systems from a hardware and software standpoint
  • Create standards to be used by the team
  • Lay out approaches to control strategies, both continuous and batch
  • Guide other engineers on technical aspects of the projects
  • Create Functional Specifications
  • Interface with the client on technical matters
  • Assist with estimates and proposals

Qualifications

PLC(Rockwell, Allen Bradley), Deltav DCS, Batch processing experience, LifeSciences or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
