Get to Know Us

Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to the mission of enabling organizations to proactively find, fix and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero has been adopted by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises. It is used by IT Ops/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs.

We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers & operators, and formerly frustrated cybersecurity practitioners. We're committed to helping solve our common security problems: ineffective security tools and false positives, resulting in alert fatigue, blind spots, "checkbox” security culture, cybersecurity skills shortage, and the long lead time and expense of hiring outside consultants. Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results.

As a remote first company, we require minimum 25Mbps consumer grade broadband connection.

Summary/Overview

At Horizon3.ai, we’re redefining the offensive cybersecurity space—and we need a forward-thinking, technically fluent Product Manager to own the SaaS platform capabilities that power our enterprise and MSP customers. This high-impact role will focus on user authentication, authorization models, organizational/tenant management, user settings, and auditability—ensuring our platform scales securely and effectively for the most demanding environments.

You’ll work closely with engineering, architects, and customer-facing teams to define and deliver enterprise-grade platform features that provide governance, security, and operational efficiency. From authentication and role-based access control to tenant hierarchies, user preferences, and comprehensive audit logging, you’ll set the strategy for the foundational elements of our SaaS platform.

This is a pivotal opportunity for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of system design, security, and enterprise customer experience. If you’ve led platform initiatives around RBAC, identity, tenant management, or compliance in high-growth SaaS environments, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the SaaS Platform Vision – Define and drive the roadmap for authentication, authorization, user settings, tenant management, and auditability.

  • Advance Authentication Capabilities – Deliver enterprise-grade identity features including SSO, MFA, passwordless login, and support for standards like OAuth and SAML.

  • Evolve Authorization Models – Define and refine roles, permissions, and flexible RBAC/ABAC structures to support complex enterprise and MSP environments.

  • Enable Org & Tenant Management – Build multi-tenant capabilities, tenant hierarchies, provisioning/de-provisioning flows, and delegated administration.

  • Deliver Comprehensive Auditability – Ensure audit logs, activity tracking, and reporting provide transparency, compliance support, and operational visibility.

  • Enhance User Settings & Preferences – Own the experience for user profile management, notification settings, personalization, and self-service account options.

  • Champion Governance & Security – Translate enterprise compliance and administrative needs into features that balance usability with control.

  • Work Cross-Functionally – Partner with engineering, security, and customer success to prioritize and deliver scalable, enterprise-ready platform features.

  • Translate Complexity into Roadmaps – Break down deeply technical requirements into actionable development plans sequenced for both near-term impact and long-term scalability.

What We’re Looking For
  • You’ve built and scaled SaaS platforms at high-growth companies, with a focus on enterprise or MSP customers.

  • You’ve led initiatives around authentication, authorization, user settings, tenant management, or auditability.

  • You’re comfortable owning deeply technical products—identity standards, RBAC/ABAC, SaaS governance models, and user-facing account settings.

  • You think in terms of platforms and systems, not just features, and you balance security, usability, and scalability in every decision.

  • You excel at cross-functional collaboration and aligning platform vision with technical execution.

  • You’re comfortable getting into the details of authentication flows, permission structures, and user preference models while also zooming out to set direction.

Required Background
  • 6+ years in product management or technical product roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.

  • Demonstrated ownership of identity/authentication, RBAC/ABAC models, user settings, tenant management, or audit logging features.

  • Strong technical fluency—comfortable with authentication standards (SAML, OAuth, SCIM), RBAC/ABAC models, and SaaS architectures.

  • Experience working with platform, infrastructure, or backend teams.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies in complex technical environments.

Bonus Points
  • Prior hands-on development experience or a CS/engineering degree.

  • Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms or MSP-oriented capabilities.

  • Exposure to audit/compliance frameworks (SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001).

  • Background in cybersecurity, identity management, or enterprise SaaS security features.

  • Experience with licensing models, entitlements, or user provisioning systems.

Location & Travel Requirements
  • Preferred location: San Francisco Bay Area, New York but open to remote

  • Up to 15% travel required
