Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner closely with Technical Services leaders, advising on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Lead annual talent reviews, succession planning, and performance calibration processes.
- Anticipate future capability needs in a scaling technical environment.
- Support change, transformation, and restructuring initiatives when needed.
Talent & Performance Leadership
- Strengthen performance management practices to ensure clarity, accountability, and fairness.
- Coach leaders through feedback conversations, development planning, and complex people decisions.
- Identify and develop high-potential talent, partnering on retention and growth strategies.
- Translate engagement insights into actionable, meaningful plans.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Support and manage employee relations matters across Spain and other EMEA countries in a fair, practical, and consistent way.
- Work closely with Legal and the global People & Talent team when handling sensitive situations.
- Support leaders through terminations, organisational changes, and conflict relations, helping them make balanced, well-considered decisions.
Madrid Site Leadership
- Act as the senior People leader for the Madrid office.
- Help foster an inclusive, high-engagement, and high-performance culture.
- Ensure alignment between global People practices and local implementation.
- Be a visible, approachable presence in the office for both leaders and employees.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including time spent as a senior HR Business Partner or HR Leader in a multinational B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
- Experience supporting Director and VP-level stakeholders, ideally within customer-facing or technical organisations.
- Strong experience leading: Talent review and succession planning cycles; Performance calibration processes; Organisational design and workforce planning initiatives; Complex employee relations questions.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish labour law; exposure to other EMEA countries is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and confidence in influencing senior stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a thoughtful, data-informed approach.
- Business-level fluency in Spanish and English.
