Come join us on our mission to build cultures where employees and companies thrive. You will play a critical role helping ensure our internal programs reflect the same care and clarity we bring to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to step into a central operations role during a high-impact moment—supporting our team while a core teammate is out on leave.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves solving messy problems, and brings a curious, proactive mindset to everything they do. You'll play a critical role in keeping our people programs running smoothly, flexing across a wide range of responsibilities, and helping scale how we support employees across their entire journey at Lattice. From onboarding and benefits to compliance, contingent workforce, and automation, your work will directly shape the employee experience and lay the groundwork for what’s next as we grow.

What You Will Do

  • Act as a key partner in day-to-day People Operations support, responding to employee inquiries and supporting benefits administration.
  • Execute and maintain People programs such as onboarding/offboarding, leave tracking, benefits, compensation cycles, and compliance workflows.
  • Collaborate with process owners to draft and maintain policies and practices in Notion; support internal knowledge sharing.
  • Support unemployment claims processing, COBRA subsidy tracking in Kept, and updates related to Lattice's benefits tools.
  • Monitor and triage incoming mail/shipment via our virtual mailbox and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Maintain and improve People team resources and employee help content, identifying content gaps and standardizing updates.
  • Own documentation and process improvement work related to contingent workforce onboarding and offboarding.
  • Use employee inquiry data to surface trends, identify opportunities to automate or improve the employee experience, and reduce manual work.
  • Provide general project support across compliance internal tools and systems
  • Own the administration of required annual trainings, ensuring timely completion, tracking compliance, and escalating as needed to meet internal and legal standards.
  • Ad Hoc Projects & Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to automate processes and enhance efficiency by leading cross-functional initiatives that promote operational excellence. Leverage automation tools (e.g., AI) to minimize manual tasks and improve productivity.
  • Actively identifying employee-centered improvements and participating in improvement projects. Driving standardization, simplification, and automation of the relevant processes.

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • 4+ years of experience in People Operations or a related field, with strong knowledge of core HR processes and best practices.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats—you bring breadth of experience across HR domains and enjoy jumping between tasks and projects.
  • Adaptable and curious: you’re energized by change, ask thoughtful questions, and seek out better ways of doing things.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and tools, and comfort using tech to streamline operations and documentation.
  • Strong process improvement and project management skills, with a track record of implementing changes that drive efficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends in data and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you work well with cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks with ease.
  • A proactive problem-solver who’s excited to navigate ambiguity and deliver people-centered solutions.
  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information, with good judgment on when to escalate.

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $47.00 - $55.00.
