The Sr. Paid Social Strategist is responsible for owning all aspects of paid social strategy, delivery, and reporting for their client(s) as well as supporting junior level social team members as their manager and collaborating with the account team. They are the thought leader and day-to-day expert for clients across all things social and partner closely with the client strategy team to deliver results for the clients. They deliver a balance of foundational strategies and innovation to strategic frameworks, media plans, and campaign builds for their client(s). They are curious, resourceful, strategic, obsessed over details, and a proven paid social media expert. They possess skills and qualities of an empathetic leader and are passionate about leading a team to success. 

The primary functions of this role are to be a subject matter expert in full funnel paid social strategy and delivery across key social platforms, possess strong presentation skills for executive level clients, provide their team with appropriate resources to meet and surpass client goals, lead media planning and presentation development and spearhead optimizations and reporting.

Note: While we are a remote company, we are only able to consider candidates based in the Eastern or Central time zones due to the working hours of clients this role will be supporting.

What you’ll do:

  • Own day-to-day paid social strategy across key accounts, including planning, testing, optimizations, forecasting, and reporting
  • Build full-funnel strategies rooted in client objectives, platform best practices, and industry trends
  • Analyze campaign performance across platforms and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and platform reps to bring integrated, innovative ideas to clients—including Alpha/Beta opportunities
  • Stay ahead of emerging platform updates and determine what matters most for your clients’ goals
  • Mentor junior team members and help drive best-in-class execution across the social team
  • Lead the creation of clear, compelling storytelling through decks, POVs, and performance summaries

You should have

  • 4+ years of experience in paid social planning and buying (must include hands-on buying)
  • Deep expertise across at least 4 paid social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, X)
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong client and team collaboration skills
  • Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must
  • Certifications in digital marketing and/or social media strategy are a plus (Meta Blueprint Buying and Planning Certifications, Snap Focus, Google Analytics Certification, etc.)
  • Experience with health and/or beauty brands is a plus

Salary Information: The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $98,000 and is commensurate with candidate experience and location. Position also offers a bonus based on company and client success.
