Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Observability Engineer to design and implement scalable observability solutions that enhance system resilience and visibility across enterprise platforms. This role will focus on improving monitoring practices, enabling rapid incident response, and driving innovation in observability tooling and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, ELK, and related tools.

  • Integrate OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing and implement Monitoring as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams to standardize monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.

  • Optimize performance monitoring and support incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, or site reliability engineering.

  • Expertise with Dynatrace, ELK, SolarWinds, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Experience with Monitoring as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation and strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AIOps, and predictive monitoring techniques.

Pay Range:

$92,288-$153,813/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
