The Role:

As a Senior .NET Enterprise Software Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications that support critical business operations and long-term strategic objectives. You will serve as a technical leader, driving software architecture decisions, delivering high-quality solutions, and mentoring development teams. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with deep Microsoft technology experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to modernize and integrate legacy systems while supporting scalable enterprise platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications using .NET technologies, VB.NET, and related Microsoft development tools.

  • Lead software development initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support.

  • Develop clean, scalable, maintainable, and secure code following established coding standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex application, integration, and database issues.

  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote knowledge sharing across the development team.

  • Design and maintain scalable system architectures that support business growth and performance objectives.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve application efficiency, reliability, and user experience.

  • Support modernization efforts involving legacy applications, databases, and business-critical systems.

  • Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, plus at least 4 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET, and Microsoft technologies.

  • Experience with VB.NET development and support of existing applications.

  • Knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and enterprise application development patterns.

  • Experience working with relational databases, including design, optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in enterprise environments.

  • Experience leading development projects, contributing to technical design discussions, and mentoring team members.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing web applications using Blazor.

  • Experience supporting and developing solutions using Microsoft Access.

  • Understanding of legacy systems and technologies and experience participating in modernization or migration initiatives.

  • Experience integrating applications across multiple business systems and platforms.

  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, utilities, or other enterprise business environments.
