The Opportunity

As Senior Manager of Brand & Digital, you will help define how Technosylva shows up in the world — from the first impression a utility or manager or executive gets on our website to the story a fire agency meteorologist sees in our content. This is a senior individual-contributor role with team leadership responsibility, sitting at the intersection of brand strategy, digital marketing, and creative execution.

You'll work closely with Marketing Programs, Product Marketing, and Growth leadership to build a cohesive brand presence that reflects our overarching value, scientific authority, the urgency of our mission, and the trust that utilities and agencies place in us every day.

What You'll Do

Brand Strategy & Stewardship

  • Translate complex wildfire and extreme weather science and AI technology into compelling, accessible narratives for diverse audiences: utility executives, fire agency leaders, regulators, and investors - and audiences beyond who are affected by wildfire and extreme weather.
  • Own and evolve Technosylva's brand identity — voice, visual standards, messaging frameworks — ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Partner with the Marketing and executive team on thought leadership positioning, including CEO communications, conference keynotes, other key storytelling opportunities, distilling complex ideas into compelling narratives.
  • Serve as the key thought partner for the Technosylva team, helping translate sophisticated concepts and scientific information into compelling visuals and narratives for all of the audiences that we encounter.
  • Champion a distinctive visual identity and clarion brand voice that differentiates Technosylva in a rapidly growing market.

Digital Marketing & Web

  • Lead Technosylva's digital presence, including the company website, SEO/GEO strategy, and digital engagement opportunities.
  • Own digital channel performance — organic search, GEO, and web leads— and use data to continuously optimize reach, engagement, and pipeline contribution.
  • Oversee UX and content strategy for the web, partnering with agency resources to continuously improve site performance and audience engagement.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers; brief and review creative work to ensure brand integrity and quality.
  • Set clear priorities for the team and expectations with stakeholders, and periodically report out against goals.
  • Partner with Marketing Programs and Product Marketing to ensure web participation in campaigns, including content and engagement opportunities
  • Serve as a steward of the Technosylva brand in cross-functional campaigns, ensuring consistency across media.
  • Build scalable design resources that accelerate and scale our ability to deliver well-designed products (e.g., Canva templates for socials, etc.).
  • Leverage AI tools to scale the work efficiently.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated ability to build or meaningfully evolve a B2B technology brand — ideally in a mission-driven organization, including enterprise SaaS, climate tech, public safety, or a field where credibility and scientific authority matter.
  • Experience developing foundational narrative and materials required for communicating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Demonstrated examples of strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution: you're as comfortable developing a messaging framework as you are editing a landing page or reviewing a design comp.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing ability to translate complex concepts into sharp designs and assets.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and serve as a strong thought partner.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, as well with digital marketing tools and platforms (CMS platforms, Google Analytics, SEO platforms).
  • Excellent written communication skills — you can write with clarity and precision for technical and executive audiences alike.
  • Experience managing agencies and external creative partners, with a sharp eye for quality.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment where the stakes are real.
  • Willingness to embrace an AI-first approach to work.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in brand management, digital marketing, or integrated marketing communications, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.

Bonus Points For

  • Background in or strong appreciation for data-driven storytelling and scientific communication.
  • Experience marketing to electric utilities, fire agencies, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with wildfire, climate risk, or extreme weather topics.
