Senior Marketing Manager - AI Position Summary

The Senior Manager of AI Marketing Strategy is responsible for defining and operationalizing the company’s AI-driven marketing strategy to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and scale across the marketing organization. This role focuses on how AI is applied to marketing—from strategy and use-case prioritization to governance and enablement—rather than day-to-day campaign execution.

This leader will act as the connective tissue between Marketing, RevOps, Data, and IT teams to ensure AI is deployed responsibly, strategically, and in ways that drive measurable business impact across demand generation, lifecycle marketing, and go-to-market motions.

What You'll Do:

AI Marketing Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the marketing AI strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business objectives, revenue goals, and customer experience priorities.

  • Define how AI is applied across all major marketing functions

  • Identify, prioritize, and define high-impact AI use cases across marketing, including (but not limited to):

  • Audience targeting, segmentation, and account selection

  • Personalization of website, email, and field experiences

  • Content creation, optimization, and reuse at scale

  • Predictive analytics, forecasting, and propensity modeling

  • Lead, account, and opportunity scoring

  • Campaign performance optimization and budget allocation

  • Marketing productivity and workflow automation

  • Balance near-term efficiency gains with longer-term, transformational AI investments.

  • Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI usage and define guardrails, best practices, and decision frameworks for AI adoption across marketing teams.

Technology Evaluation & Enablement

  • Evaluate AI-powered marketing technologies, platforms, and vendors; build business cases and ROI models for adoption.

  • Support AI tool owners in vendor selection, pilots, and rollouts.

  • With Marketing Operations, ensure AI tools integrate cleanly into the existing marketing tech stack.

Measurement & Business Impact

  • Define success metrics for AI initiatives, including productivity gains, cost efficiency, pipeline impact, and revenue contribution.

  • Partner with Marketing Ops, Planning and Insights and Finance Analytics teams to measure performance and continuously refine AI models and use cases.

  • Communicate impact and learnings to marketing and executive leadership.

Change Management & Enablement

  • Lead enablement efforts to drive adoption of AI capabilities across marketing teams.

  • Educate stakeholders on AI capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

  • Act as a thought leader and internal evangelist for practical, responsible AI use in marketing.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on emerging AI trends, technologies, and regulatory considerations relevant to marketing.

  • Run a test-and-learn program to experiment with new AI-driven approaches and scale proven wins.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing operations, analytics, or marketing strategy, with direct exposure to AI or advanced data-driven initiatives.

  • Proven experience defining and leading AI or advanced analytics strategies within a marketing or go-to-market organization.

  • Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks (CRM, MAP, CDP, analytics platforms) and how AI layers onto them.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with data, engineering, IT, and operations teams.

  • Strategic mindset with strong prioritization, roadmap planning, and change management skills.

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience with AI-driven personalization, predictive modeling, or machine learning applications in B2B marketing.

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and responsible AI principles.

  • Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities with ease.

  • Strong B2B marketing background within the technology sector; cybersecurity experience is a strong advantage.

  • Broad marketing expertise, with hands-on experience in planning, demand generation, digital, channel, and field marketing.

  • Confident working with marketing data, performance metrics, and systems to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
