SENIOR MARKETING COORDINATOR

Job Summary: 

The Senior Marketing Coordinator supports business growth by leading proposal development and coordinating firmwide marketing efforts. This role works closely with technical and business development teams to develop proposals, scopes of work, and marketing materials, while maintaining resumes, project descriptions, and branding content.

Responsibilities: 

  • Proposal development
  • Work with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work
  • Mentor subordinate marketing staff as junior team members are added
  • Assist with marketing budget development
  • Maintain resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, photographs, etc.
  • Plan and schedule marketing support activities to ensure that goals are accomplished and deadlines are met
  • Develop and update social media
  • Assist with development of marketing and branding materials
  • Plan marketing activities
  • Update website information
  • Research target markets
  • Actively involved in professional and community organizations
  • Coordinate with Business Development team for business development goals and activities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years marketing experience, at least 4 years of AEC experience preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the AEC industry terminology and procedures
  • Professional demeanor that enables the candidate to interact with the highest levels both inside and outside Salas O’Brien
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Driven, hardworking, takes pride in their work
  • Persistent, able to follow through in a consistent manner and document efforts
  • Experience tracking efforts and meeting benchmarks

Preferred Experience with:

  • Indesign
  • Deltek Vision and Vantagepoint 
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite) 

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation for this role is $85-90K.  Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
