Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Cloud Architect to lead the design and evolution of a next-generation, AI-powered marketing ecosystem. This role will drive scalable, data-driven customer engagement by leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and emerging AI/GenAI capabilities. 

 

You will play a critical role in enabling personalized, omnichannel customer experiences, improving marketing efficiency, and supporting Colibri’s broader digital transformation initiatives. 

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Architecture 

    • Define and own the Marketing Cloud architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives. 

    • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Technology leaders to translate strategic goals into technical solutions. 

    • Lead transition toward AI-driven marketing platforms and decisioning systems. 

     

    Solution Delivery 

    • Lead end-to-end implementation of complex Marketing Cloud solutions, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, and Content Builder. 

    • Architect integrations between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and external systems using APIs and middleware. 

     

    Data Strategy 

    • Design robust data models and segmentation strategies for advanced personalization. 

    • Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA). 

     

    AI & Innovation  

    • Introduce best practices and leverage Generative AI (GenAI) for:  

    • Dynamic email/content generation  

    • Campaign optimization  

    • Automated journey orchestration  

    • Design and implement AI-powered personalization strategies, including Real-time segmentation using Data Cloud.  

    • Enable Einstein AI / predictive intelligence use cases. 

    • Drive continuous improvement through AI-enabled experimentation frameworks, Predictive analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization. 

     

    Leadership 

    • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for Marketing Cloud developers and administrators. 

    • Establish governance frameworks for Data Quality, Coding standards and AI model usage and ethics.


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 7+ years in digital marketing technology, with at least 5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Technical Skills
  • Expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and marketing automation best practices.
  • Certifications
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Architect certifications strongly preferred.
  • Soft Skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Influence & Leadership: Skilled at guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communication Excellence: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot complex issues and design innovative solutions.
  • Collaboration: Builds trust and fosters teamwork across Marketing, Technology, and Product organizations.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced environments and can pivot strategies based on evolving business needs.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Keeps end-user experience at the forefront of all decisions.
