The Sr. Manager of Vendor Management will be responsible for driving the long-term strategy and execution of our operations vendor ecosystem in support of operational excellence across Clinical Operations, and Care Support. This role sits within the Operations Strategy & Excellence team and is ideal for someone who is both a strategic thinker and operational builder—someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is comfortable designing scalable processes from scratch.
You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure vendors are aligned to Spring’s objectives, compliant with standards, and positioned to scale with our evolving business needs. A background in healthcare or tech-enabled services is highly preferred, with a strong appreciation for navigating complexity and driving measurable outcomes.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Sr. Director, Operations Strategy & Excellence.
What you’ll do:
- Execute the strategic roadmap for Spring Health’s external vendor ecosystem.
- Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of vendor relationships, including selection, onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring, and offboarding.
- Build scalable and repeatable processes that support ongoing vendor evaluations, SLAs, audits, and compliance in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and scorecards to assess vendor performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Finance and Procurement to optimize costs and drive ROI across all vendor engagements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure vendors support both near-term capacity needs and long-term service innovations.
What success looks like:
- Implementation of structured vendor governance processes, including standardized scorecards and performance reviews.
- Cost optimization and measurable ROI across vendor engagements.
- Seamless integration of vendors into Spring Health’s broader operating model, including workforce and quality alignment.
- Documented SOPs and workflows for all critical vendor-related processes.
- Positive cross-functional feedback on partnership effectiveness and support quality.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, operations strategy, consulting, or similar roles; healthcare or tech-enabled services experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build structured, scalable processes from the ground up.
- Experience managing complex vendor portfolios, including offshore partners, third-party service providers, and technology partners.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in creating dashboards, business cases, and executive-level presentations.
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations, contracting, and risk management in healthcare environments a plus.
- A growth mindset with a bias toward action, a knack for structured problem-solving, and the humility to build alongside others.
The target base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $142,500, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
