Purpose and Objective

The Senior Manager, Transition will be responsible for leading the Transition Team. The Senior Manager will play a key role in driving scalable growth by coaching and developing the team, enhancing employees' strengths, and fostering skill development while overseeing robust Continuous Improvement. The incumbent will play a critical role in delivering a positive first experience to clients and their plan participants while helping to position LGRA in the US PRT marketplace as an elite service provider.  

Role and Responsibilities

· Utilize effective management and coaching skills to oversee the Transition process and drive successful execution and results.

· Serve as a role model for the team, exhibiting LGRAs Behaviors in all interactions, and taking a hands-on approach to leadership.

· Develop employee performance through training and coaching to ensure team members reach their full potential (performance, productivity, and process efficiency).

· Focus on employee engagement and well-being as part of a positive work environment, empowering our people to develop themselves and their careers through regular performance feedback and development conversations

· Utilize change management tools and practices to successfully manage the people side of change.

· Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure and promote employee retention, internal mobility, and broader employee development within the company.

· Assign, balance, and manage workloads to ensure employees are following best practices and standards to deliver work effectively and efficiently.  

· Hiring, training, and developing new employees to meet organizational needs in a fast-growing industry.

· Maintaining, at all times, a continuous improvement philosophy and leading opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.

· Facilitate daily team huddles, 1:1 performance conversations, and coordinate team-building activities.

· Work in partnership with senior members within the Operations department to ensure the infrastructure is in place for the team to be scalable, efficient, and perform at their best.

· Develop metrics, targets and annual goals for the team that align with LGRA’s strategy.  

· Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in the PRT, retirement services, or pension consulting industry.
  • 7+ years of people management experience.

·         Experience managing, coaching, and developing junior to mid-level employees.

·         An ability to mentor and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Pension Risk Transfer preferred, but not required
  • Experience working at a global business is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives preferred, but not essential for the role.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and exercise good judgment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 USD annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The current bonus target for the position is 15% of the base salary with a stretch to twice the target, modified for corporate and individual performance.
