ServiceNow is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager of Strategic Events Sponsorship to join our high-performing Strategic Events team. This role is ideal for a seasoned sponsorship professional with a passion for building impactful partnerships, a sharp eye for revenue opportunities, and a strategic mindset that aligns business goals with innovative sponsor experiences.
As a senior leader within the team, you will drive the development and execution of sponsorship strategies across our global event portfolio. You'll collaborate closely with executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to secure and grow high-value sponsorships that enhance event impact, elevate the brand, and deliver measurable business results.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $145,900 - $255,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.

What you'll do in this role:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy to drive revenue and meet business goals.
- Create compelling sponsorship packages, proposals, and presentations tailored to potential partners.
- Identify, pitch, and secure sponsors for global strategic events, ensuring alignment with event and brand objectives.
- Manage the full sponsorship lifecycle-from prospecting and negotiations to activation and renewal.
- Adapt sales strategies based on market insights, sponsor feedback, and evolving business priorities.
- Lead high-level negotiations to secure impactful, long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary liaison for sponsors, ensuring seamless communication, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key sponsors and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including partner marketing, legal, and event production, to deliver sponsor commitments.
- Oversee on-site sponsor activations and ensure high-quality execution at flagship events like Knowledge.
- Ensure sponsor assets are flawlessly integrated into event experiences in partnership with production teams.
- Track and report on sponsorship performance, delivering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Use data, analytics, and financial insights to evaluate opportunities and maximize ROI.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to identify new sponsorship opportunities.
- Drive innovation in sponsorship engagement through ongoing strategy refinement and performance optimization.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 12+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, marketing, and event partnerships, with a strong track record in revenue generation and partner engagement.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sponsorship initiatives that drive business impact.
- Expertise in navigating high-growth, dynamic environments and adapting strategies to evolving business needs.
- Strong experience in complex, matrixed organizations, leading cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
- Business acumen, executive presence, and ability to influence senior leaders and align sponsorship strategies with corporate goals.
- Skilled in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
