The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture - MarTech, you'll be a pivotal link between pre-sales strategy and project delivery. This role is a cornerstone of our Adobe solutions practice, where you will use your deep, authoritative knowledge of the Adobe ecosystem to shape, architect, and launch impactful marketing technology solutions that align with client and executive partner goals. You'll also need broader knowledge of headless CMS solutions and e-commerce platforms to consult with clients on their business challenges and provide expert architectural guidance.

Whether leading architectural discovery for new initiatives or guiding in-flight projects, you'll ensure solutions are both technically sound and aligned with business objectives. You'll engage with prospective clients to explore how our capabilities can meet their unique challenges, lead architecture efforts for new engagements, and collaborate closely with delivery teams to bring client visions to life. You'll also provide critical estimates for team composition, build scope, and resource planning, ensuring projects are realistically scoped and staffed for success.

Responsibilities
  • Presale: Lead scoping, technical design, and work planning during the presale process while speaking with prospective clients about your firms engineering and marketing capabilities
  • Delivery: Play the lead role in technical architecture and discovery projects, using consulting methods to refine the product and technical architecture of client projects
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Own a “technology vertical”, encompassing solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership. Act as the leading authority on the Adobe ecosystem while continuously researching and evaluating trends in broader marketing technology.
  • Roving Catalyst: Enhance existing project teams with architectural account-level guidance or specific subject matter expertise
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting services
  • Adobe Ecosystem: Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including architecture, component development, template design, workflows, and integrations. Plus at least one other Adobe platform (e.g., RT-CDP, Target, AJO, CJA, Commerce), with familiarity across the entire stack
  • Headless CMS & Commerce: Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and platforms like Contentful and Contentstack
  • General Web Architecture: Deep expertise in web architecture principles, including:
    • RESTful and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and microservices architecture.
    • Modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue.js).
    • Experience with various architectural patterns (e.g., event-driven, serverless).
    • Performance optimization techniques, security best practices, and SEO considerations for web applications.
  • Experience delivering software in an agency/client-service environment.
  • Experience with commercial conversations involving budgets and fees.
  • Experience quickly iterating and refining a product vision with a client by offering multiple approach options.
  • Skilled in software estimation, work planning, and building project plans within time/cost constraints.
Leadership & Vision
  • Passion for applying modern processes that transform client organizations (e.g., continuous delivery, rapid iteration, and agile-inspired methodologies).
  • Ability to use repeatable frameworks and best practices to incorporate new technologies or concepts.
  • Equally comfortable working in pre-sale and post-sale environments.
  • You thrive in ambiguous environments, breaking down complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to clearly explain AEM architecture and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with commerce solutions and platforms like BigCommerce, Shopify, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus
