Job responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Strong Experience in interacting with Trading desk and Operations; understanding workflows and designing solutions. Experience in Synthetics Prime Brokerage is desirable.
- Strong Experience in handling a 5-6 member team and supporting/ mentoring team members
- Create secure and high-quality production code and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
- Drive innovation and adaptation of best practices within the team.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Manage defect tracking systems, resolve issues, and prepare updates for systems.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on technology development concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Strong experience in technology development & leading teams
- Hands-on programming experience in Java, multithreading, REST, Spring boot, Spring framework, Kafka & AWS technologies/ services.
- Experience implementing large scale, highly available Java applications using microservices.
- Experience in building, orchestrating, and deploying highly scalable REST-based stateless APIs/web services for web applications.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Oracle Database, and PL/SQL is big plus
- Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins and deployment automation tools.
- Experience with unit test automation frameworks such as Junit - Experience with version control software (Git Hub/Bitbucket)
